Sydney Campus Relocation - FAQ
We are proud to announce that in early July 2022 we will be relocating to a fantastic new campus in the Sydney CBD at Level 1, 55 Elizabeth Street. We will be sharing this campus with a prestigious university, The University of Newcastle.

Q: Why are we moving campus?
A: For many years, we’ve been looking for a new facility for KBS in Sydney. While the George Street campus has served us well, we’ve wanted to upgrade our facilities and move to a bigger, newer campus that is more reflective of the quality of the education that KBS has to offer.
Q: What’s the last day I can come to the George Street campus?
A: The George Street campus will permanently close on Friday 1 July, which means the last day to come to the George Street campus is Thursday 30 June.
Q: When can I come to the Elizabeth Street campus?
A: From 8:00am Monday 11 July, the first day of Orientation Week, our new campus will be open to all students. We look forward to seeing you on campus and hearing your feedback!
Q: Will there be any impact on my classes or courses?
A: We have arranged for the move to happen during your trimester break, so there will be no disruption to your studies in Trimester 2.
Q: How do I get to 55 Elizabeth Street?
A: Please click here to follow Google Maps directions. The closest train stations are Martin Place and St James station, both of which are a 5-minute walk from the new campus. Our Student Experience team will be available at the desk up the stairs once you arrive.
Q: What facilities will be available in the new campus?
A: The new campus will have two floors that include bright and spacious classrooms, lounge areas, study booths, collaboration rooms, break out areas, quiet areas and much more. The facilities are a significant step up from what we had at George Street and we welcome you to come and visit and for us to show you around.
Q: What are the new campus opening hours?
A: The Elizabeth Street campus will be open from 8:00am to 10:00pm, Monday to Friday. Please note our Student Experience Officers will be on campus until 8.15pm on Monday to Thursday, and 5:00pm on Friday’s to assist with enquiries, but the campus facilities will be open until 10:00pm.
Q: What’s the new campus phone number?
A: The campus telephone number will remain the same: (02) 8248 6758. We will be available at our usual times, including when we’re making the transition between the campuses.
Q: Do I need a pass or special access to enter the building or rooms?
A: There will be no passes required to enter the building. We do have a lift, but it is reserved for visitors with mobility issues. If you require lift access, please reach out to the Student Experience team on campus.
