Overview
The Diploma of Information Technology is suitable for students who would like to understand and leverage a range of technological and programming concepts and tools. You will learn how to use software in the context of technological issues that emerge in contemporary businesses and to subsequently communicate solutions and outcomes to diverse stakeholders clearly and effectively.

Students enrolled in the Diploma of Information Technology at Kaplan Business School will learn how to:
- Identify business opportunities by applying a range of technological and programming concepts and tools
- Report technological problems, solutions and outcomes to diverse stakeholders clearly and effectively
- Explain how business problems can be solved with the aid of technological methods and tools
- Apply ethical, privacy and information security frameworks regarding technology

Students may be eligible for credit for academic work previously completed and should apply to the School for this to be recognised as an exemption from individual subjects of study.

You may apply for credit entry into the second year of our Bachelor of Information Technology or a related undergraduate degree at another Australian higher education provider.

STEP 3
We will notify you after receiving your application whether you have been accepted or not. If accepted, you will receive an Offer of Admission to study.STEP 4
To proceed with your enrolment, you will need to sign and return the Acceptance of Offer form and pay the fees as specified in the Offer of Admission.STEP 5
Once you receive your electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCoE) from us you can proceed to apply for an Australian student visa.STEP 1
