Overview

The Diploma of Information Technology is suitable for students who would like to understand and leverage a range of technological and programming concepts and tools. You will learn how to use software in the context of technological issues that emerge in contemporary businesses and to subsequently communicate solutions and outcomes to diverse stakeholders clearly and effectively.

Students enrolled in the Diploma of Information Technology at Kaplan Business School will learn how to:

  • Identify business opportunities by applying a range of technological and programming concepts and tools
  • Report technological problems, solutions and outcomes to diverse stakeholders clearly and effectively
  • Explain how business problems can be solved with the aid of technological methods and tools
  • Apply ethical, privacy and information security frameworks regarding technology

Recognition of prior learning (RPL)

Students may be eligible for credit for academic work previously completed and should apply to the School for this to be recognised as an exemption from individual subjects of study.
