LIVE

The Gold Coast has more than 300 days of sunshine per year with hot summers and mild winters, so you will have plenty of opportunities to swim, surf, and play outdoors. It’s the perfect playground for water sports, seaside strolls, and hiking through nature.

You can enjoy alfresco (outdoor) dining at a great range of coastal restaurants, cafes, and street stalls as well as plenty of dining options in the city serving international cuisine.

The cost of living in the Gold Coast is lower compared to Australian capital cities and it’s easy to get around with a great network of buses, trains, and trams that is convenient and reliable.

The Gold Coast is a diverse place to live with nearly 1 in 3 residents born overseas* and hosts an extensive list of cultural events and festivals every year.
