Q: How do I create and access my Kaplan Business School email address?

A: All student emails are automatically generated and are in the following format:

[Student ID]@kaplanstudent.edu.au
Example: 123456@kaplanstudent.edu.au

Please be assured that all communication with you from KBS will be directed to the email address you provided in your KHUB personal details section – no emails are sent to your KBS email address by KBS staff.
 

Q: How do I access Microsoft Office for students?

A: You can access Microsoft Office 365 for Education here by using your KBS email address, which is:

[Student ID]@kaplanstudent.edu.au
Example: 123456@kaplanstudent.edu.au

Once registered, you will have access to Office Suite programs online, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, where you can check your KBS email.
 

Q: How do I change my password?

A: To change your password, please click on Password Reset at the bottom of your MyKBS login page and follow the prompts to successfully change your password. Your new password needs to:

  • be at least 8 digits long;
  • not include any part of your name;
  • be different from your previous password
  • include a symbol, number, uppercase and lowercase letter.

Please be advised that you can only change your password once every 24 hours. If you are having issues with your password reset, please contact your local Student Experience Team.
 

Q: My password expired, what can I do?

A: Your KBS password will expire every three months for security purposes. To reset it, please follow the instructions from the previous question. If you are having issued with your password reset, please contact your local Student Experience Team.
 

Q: I’m having issues uploading my assessments, who should I contact?

A: For any technical issues related to the use of the MyKBS website, including assessment uploading errors, please contact LMS@kbs.edu.au. For all other academic enquiries, including grade release dates and assessment feedback, please contact your lecturer or subject coordinator.
 

Q: My personal details (phone, address, email) have changed. How do I keep my details up to date with KBS?

A: You can update you contact details and emergency contact details by logging on to KHUB and changing them on ‘Personal Details’ page. Although KHUB will prompt you to update your personal details before subject enrolments every trimester, we strongly recommend you update your personal information as soon as it changes.
