Kaplan Business School launches two new GenAI postgraduate courses

Kaplan Business School has launched two new postgraduate courses focused on generative AI for business, helping professionals develop the skills needed to navigate an increasingly AI-enabled workplace.

The Graduate Certificate in Generative AI for Business is one of Australia’s first postgraduate qualifications focused exclusively on generative AI, while the MBA (GenAI for Business) is one of the first Australian MBAs with a specialisation focused exclusively on the technology.

The new courses were developed in response to the rapid adoption of generative AI across many industries and roles. As organisations increasingly integrate GenAI tools into more workflows, demand is growing for professionals who can identify where GenAI can add value, support implementation, and guide its ethical adoption.

The two courses offer distinct pathways for professionals looking to build GenAI capability. Delivered fully online, the Graduate Certificate develops practical skills to tackle business challenges, identify opportunities for innovation, and navigate ethical, legal and security considerations. The MBA specialisation builds on these skills with broader strategic business and leadership expertise, preparing professionals to drive AI-enabled transformation, manage organisational change, and lead responsible adoption across increasingly digital workplaces.

Enrolments for both courses are now open, with the first intake of the MBA (GenAI for Business) commencing in November 2026 across all KBS campuses, while the Graduate Certificate commences in March 2027 as an online course.
