Mary has recently moved into the tertiary education area in an academic role, lecturing predominantly in accounting and auditing subjects.
She is a Chartered Accountant by qualification and has 18 years experience in professional services firms, namely PricewaterhouseCoopers and Ernst & Young. During this time, Mary has 10 years experience in a client-facing role in the audit practice, together with 8 years as a Senior Manager in learning and development.
She has significant project management experience, including being the project manager for the implementation of the Development Needs Analysis system across the PwC firm nationally. She has also worked as a learning and development consultant to partners in different areas of the practice. Her learning and development experience includes, but is not limited to, developing and teaching graduate programs - training all levels of staff, ie graduates, senior accountants, managers, directors and partners in new audit methodology and technical updates, as well as developing and teaching consulting skills, coaching skills, presentation skills, and sales programs for managers and partners.
