Streams Available

You can tailor the Bachelor of Business to suit your career goals by completing one of the following streams - General Business, Accounting or Human Resources. To view a unit outline, click on the name of the unit in the lists below.

General Business

The general business stream will give you the fundamental business skills and knowledge you’ll need to launch your career in a range of fields.

To follow this stream you must complete 8 core units and 16 elective units.

Core units – complete all of these

Elective units – complete 16 of these

Accounting 

The accounting stream will give you a specialist understanding of accounting and its associated business fields, and the foundation skills and knowledge you’ll need to successfully enter the workforce as an accountant.

To follow this stream, you must complete 21 core units and 3 elective units from the selection below. Please note that FINB3000 Corporate Finance is compulsary for those wanting CA/CPA membership.

Human Resources

The Human Resources stream will give you skills in basic human resource functions and management. You’ll study foundation business units in conjunction with specialised human resource units that cover employment and industrial law, workplace relations, contemporary management, and strategic and international management.

To follow this stream, you must complete 8 core units, 8 human resources units and 8 elective units.
