Applying for a new visa or extending a visa

Every student visa has an expiry date. Note carefully what that date is and ensure the visa does not expire without renewing. If a student changes courses they may need to apply for a new visa. The Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) will be able to advise whether a new application for a student visa must be lodged. Students can apply to the local DIAC office to extend their visa or to apply for a new student visa. Please see the Admissions Manager for further assistance.
