TECH5100 Penetration Testing This subject explores authorised simulated cyber-attacks on a computer system, network, and web application to identify vulnerabilities, determine their causes, design optimal solutions. Students will evaluate the organisation’s defensive security measures on an ongoing basis once they have been launched. Students are additionally taught how to prevent security breaches and develop appropriate countermeasures to mitigate the risk of unauthorised access, hacks and exploits to the organisation’s systems, networks, and applications.
