TECH4100 UX and Design Thinking This subject imparts theory, knowledge and skills on usability design principles and their role in the design of intuitive and robust user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) applications across a variety of platforms. As a result, students acquire practical experience in the creation and evaluation of user interfaces through the use of wireframes and prototyping that subsequently contribute to the design and development of effective UX designs. To aid this acquisition of knowledge and skill, this subject employs numerous case studies and showcases many examples of viable UX designs while also addressing the standards that test and rate applications for usability and their associated recommendations.
