Your Bachelor of Business programme is equipped with an academic internship that allows you to leverage practical industry experience and apply your theoretical knowledge to real-world applications.
Leverage Real-World Experience
Our internships can be undertaken as part of any one of our Bachelor of Business qualifications.
Workplace Success (BUS201)
Students must complete the Foundations of Workplace Success (BUS201) subject as a pre-requisite, should they wish to elect to complete one or both of the internship placement electives. Eligibility and placement will also be assessed through an interview process and successful completion of BUS201. Each elective is 12 weeks in duration, with each practical internship subject equivalent to a double subject load
Upon successful completion of the Foundations of Workplace Success subject, students can elect to study the internship subjects together in one trimester or separately over two trimesters. While every effort will be made to arrange a placement within the students preferred field, requests for specific roles and firms are not guaranteed. Internships are unpaid and the electives are assessable as part of the Bachelor of Business.
