Preparing for Arrival
Students must bring:
- Letter of Offer and personal data form
- Certified copies of qualifications
- Certified copies of other important documents
- Medical history or prescriptions required for ongoing medication
- Items of sentimental value (i.e. family photos)
- Appropriate clothing and toiletries
Homestay and hostel accommodation students will not require household equipment.
Those entering into independent rental accommodation may purchase household items in Australia at a reasonable cost or students may bring their own basic items from home.
It is recommended students visit the Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service (AQIS) website at www.daff.gov.au/aqis before leaving for Australia.
Money
The amount of money students bring is a personal decision; however funds must cover bond/rent and moving expenses for accommodation on arrival. Students should also have money to cover temporary accommodation expenses (if required), meals and transport costs however it is advisable to avoid carrying large amounts of cash at any given time.

Arrival at Kaplan Business School
On the first day of course, students must report to the Kaplan Business School campus at 9.00am to begin orientation with their passport and details of their current Australian address - even if it is only temporary.
At orientation, students will be required to complete forms for our records and must ensure they have all the necessary information.
The orientation program includes specific information on:
- Enrolment into units of study
- Study skills
- School services and facilities
- Shopping and recreational activities
- Local transport options
- Student responsibilities
- Australian tax file numbers
- Overseas student health cover
- Living in Australia.
Attendance at orientation is compulsory.
On-arrival Services
