                                                                                                                                                                                                               Carolyn has 19 years’ experience in the IT industry with extensive project management, IT strategic management and general management skills. She has also spent 9 years in various aspects of food operations management, involving both strategic and line management roles in Australia and overseas. Carolyn therefore brings to her classroom teaching extensive practical knowledge of how information systems are used in real business contexts. Carolyn has also had extensive experience teaching Information Systems at Macquarie University and Strategy and Leadership as part of the CPA support program at that university. Strategy, Leadership and management are other areas of expertise that Carolyn has and is able to teach at Kaplan Business School. Her consulting to industry work provides invaluable real world business perspectives on the application of information systems theory taught in the classroom.
Carolyn is the Lecturer in Charge of Accounting Information Systems and Information Systems units of study and has professional interests in people development, mentoring, use of technology to benefit business, current affairs.
