Sydney, the capital city of the state of New South Wales, is the oldest settlement in Australia and home to world-famous icons such as the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House.
Sydney is Australia’s largest city with a population of 4.3 million people and is at the forefront of business and tourism in Australia. The city is set around a stunning natural harbour and features multicultural restaurants, beautiful beaches and an array of shopping destinations. Sydney has many and varied cultural influences with residents from around the globe.
As the city enjoys many days of blue skies and sunshine, there are plenty of activities to enjoy that make the most out of being outdoors such as shopping at one of the many markets, a weekend trip to one of the city’s natural outer regions, surfing, bushwalking or fishing.
