Career Services

We actively work to bridge the gap between study and the workforce with our career service, KaplanCareer. This outcome-focused service is dedicated to making you as job-ready as possible at the completion of your course.

As part of KaplanCareer, you will be motivated by Career Officers and coached to maximise your chances of securing a job in your chosen field. You will have access to an extensive array of services and activities including:

• assistance with resume preparation and effective job search strategies
• ongoing career-life skills development to enhance employability
• graduate career services and resources.

Study Skills Coaching

Haven't studied for a while and worried about your study skills? We run free study skills coaching sessions each week, covering topics such as presentation skills and academic writing. Lecturers are also available outside of class time for an extra two hours each week to provide you with additional support. For a nominal fee, we can also assign to you a personal tutor who can give you any extra help you need.

Academic Counsellors

You will be supported by academic counsellors who will check on your progress and help you with any issues relating to your studies. Academic counsellors can also help you with any decisions regarding pathway opportunities to careers and university study, as well as recommending the units that will best help you achieve your career goals.

Campus Resources

You'll find studying at our modern campuses comfortable, intimate and social. Our campuses consist of classrooms, student lounge and study areas, staff and administrative offices, a kitchen and computer suites where IT access is fast and convenient. KBs have campuses in Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney.

IT & Resources

Kaplan Business School offers fast and convenient IT access. As a student you will have access to the School's email, internet and student intranet. At any time you can contact the IT help desk for assistance with software training and IT guides.

Library Access

We offer a comprehensive and sophisticated online library. As a student you will have complete access to this library, which includes several academic databases, as well as access to resources at selected local university libraries.

Orientation and Social Events

At the start of each trimester we run an orientation program so you'll have the opportunity to look around the campus, meet staff and mingle with future classmates. Throughout the year we also run a number of fun and interesting social events for the whole family, such as ten pin bowling, BBQs and field trips.
