A Chartered Accountant with a Masters in Commerce, Maritana has over 30 years experience in practice and has worked in two of the ‘Big Four’ professional accounting practice firms overseas and in one of the national practice firms in Australia.
Her professional experience covers management consultancy, financial and cost management accounting, auditing, taxation, small business management, business finance, project appraisal, project evaluation and management, and feasibility studies
She was previously employed at Charles Darwin University as the Coordinator/Lecturer in the Bachelor of Business Undergraduate Program in Alice Springs, and is also a course facilitator for the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAA).
Maritana is now the National Lecturer in Charge of Management Accounting and Auditing at Kaplan Business School, Australia.
